PRIVACY NOTICE

How EQ uses your information

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you express interest in a role, join the talent pool or talk to Pat, you may give us your name, email address, mobile number, profession, self-reported licence status and states, experience, care-setting and location preferences, availability and start date, and the roles you are interested in. A resume is optional; if you upload one it is stored privately with your application.

Conversations. We keep your conversations with Pat on the web, by text and by email so Pat can remember your preferences and continue where you left off across channels.

Information collected automatically. With your permission, we record which pages and roles you viewed, your broad referral source and device category, search and filter use, form progress and errors. We never record form values, search text, resume contents, conversations, IP addresses or full referring URLs in site measurement.

Please do not send us sensitive identification, banking or patient information. Pat is not a place for medical or legal advice.

2. How we use it

3. Who we share it with

Recruiting partners. We share your contact details, self-reported professional information, preferences and a short career summary with a recruiting partner only after you have agreed to be introduced to that partner for a role. Full conversation transcripts are not shared. Partners are bound by their own privacy notices once you are in contact with them.

Service providers. We use trusted providers to host the service, send email and text messages, and run Pat's AI models. They process your information only on our instructions. Conversations with Pat, including transcribed voice messages, are processed by our AI model provider.

Legal. We may disclose information where the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of EQ, our users or others.

4. Pat and AI

Pat is an AI assistant provided by EQ. Pat will tell you it is AI if you ask. Pat only reads the information you have given EQ; it does not verify licences or credentials. Anything Pat tells you about a role, including pay, is as advertised by the employer or partner and is confirmed by the recruiter. Every introduction Pat makes is reviewed by EQ before it reaches a partner.

5. Text messages

If you give Pat your mobile number and texting permission, we record the permission you gave and when. Pat may text you about your career interests, relevant roles and your application. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. Texting is optional and never a condition of applying. We do not share your texting consent with third parties for their marketing. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Cookies and site measurement

Necessary cookies keep the site working: your session, your saved conversation and application controls, and your cookie choice. Optional measurement cookies are off until you choose "Accept optional cookies". Measurement uses a separate random first-party session identifier that expires after 30 minutes; your preference is remembered in this browser for 180 days. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We honour Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Declining measurement does not affect applications or Pat.

7. How long we keep it

Site measurement observations are kept for up to 90 days. Application, conversation and communication records are kept while we are helping you with your search and as needed to meet our obligations to you and our partners, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your records at any time (see section 8).

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We apply the same choices to everyone, and we never sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
