Using EQ's physical therapy career service

These terms apply to eq.app/physical-therapy and to Pat, the AI career assistant, on the web, by text, by email and by voice (together, the "Service"), provided by EQ.app ("EQ"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

EQ is a referral service for physical therapists. We list roles advertised by employers and recruiting partners, help you understand them, and, when you ask us to, introduce you to a named recruiter. EQ is not an employer, a staffing agency or a licensed recruiter for any role listed, and we do not make hiring decisions. The Service is free for clinicians.

2. Roles, pay and availability

Role details, including pay, schedule, start date and benefits, are as advertised by the employer or partner on the date shown and are confirmed by the recruiter. Advertised weekly packages are gross figures and are not take-home pay. Roles can close or change at any time. EQ does not guarantee that any role is available, that you will be contacted, interviewed or hired, or that any pay figure will be offered to you.

3. Pat

Pat is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional, your state licensing board or a recruiter. Pat relies on the information you provide and does not verify licences, credentials or identity. Please check anything important with the recruiter or the employer before acting on it.

4. Introductions and your consent

EQ shares your details with a recruiting partner only after you have agreed to be introduced to that partner, and only as described in our Privacy Notice. You can withdraw that permission through "Your applications" in the footer, which stops pending introductions but cannot recall information already delivered. Your relationship with any partner or employer after an introduction is between you and them.

5. Your responsibilities

Give accurate information about yourself, your licence and your availability.
Use the Service only for your own job search. Do not use it to scrape, copy or republish listings, to send unsolicited messages, or to interfere with the Service or other users.
Do not send sensitive identification, banking or patient information.
Only give a mobile number that is yours and that you are entitled to receive texts on.

6. Text messages

If you opt in to texts, Pat may text you about your career interests, roles and your application. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Texting is never a condition of applying. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, software and Pat, belongs to EQ or its licensors. Role descriptions and employer names belong to their owners. You may use the Service for your personal job search and may share links to roles. You may not reproduce or redistribute the Service or its listings without our written permission.

8. No warranties; limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, EQ disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a role, an employer, a recruiting partner or a decision you make based on the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may change the Service or these terms at any time; the date below shows the current version, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend or end access to the Service for misuse. You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your records.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be heard in the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
