Who runs this board
The travel physical therapy board at www.eq.app/physical-therapy is run by EQ.app. It is a free referral service for physical therapists. EQ.app is not your employer and not a staffing agency: we do not hire you, set your pay or place you on assignment.
What the board is
You can browse travel PT roles by state, city and care setting without an account, and talk to Pat, an AI career assistant, about any of them. When you ask for an introduction and say yes to a named recruiter, we introduce you to that recruiter at one of our recruiting partners. The partner, not EQ.app, is the one that employs you, confirms the pay package and arranges the assignment.
The service is free for physical therapists; therapists never pay EQ.app. Your information goes to a partner only after you agree to that introduction; our privacy notice explains exactly what is shared.
How listings are sourced and checked
- Where roles come from. The roles on this board are listed by recruiting partners who let us represent them, read from their public job listings. The hiring facility stays confidential until a recruiter confirms it.
- Checked every day. An automated check re-reads the listings daily. A role goes on the board only when it shows an advertised weekly pay and has not expired. Duplicate listings are merged into one, and roles that close come off at the next check.
- The wider market. State pages also count travel PT openings posted publicly by other companies. Those counts are context only: we never publish another company's opening as our own job post.
How pay figures are built
- Weekly packages. A weekly figure is the advertised package on the partner's listing. It usually combines taxable hourly pay with housing and meal stipends, so it is not take-home pay and not guaranteed. A recruiter confirms the package before any offer.
- Medians by state and setting. These are medians of the current listings on this board, recalculated every day. Small samples move quickly, so role counts are shown beside each figure.
- Annual benchmark. The annual figure is the median wage for physical therapists published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. We never turn a weekly package into an annual salary.

Who runs it
EQ.app builds AI workers for staffing and recruiting firms. It was founded by Marcus Sawyerr, its founder and CEO, who was previously President of Innovation at The Adecco Group. EQ.app is a member of Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA).
